Introduction: a bit ‘of history

Nota began as a publishing brand in the second half of the eighties the 900 part of the activities of Valter Colle, visual anthropologist and entrepreneur in the cultural sphere. The stated interest in non-commercial music and the most marginal phenomena is also reflected in a large number of CDs dedicated to linguistic minorities technology-music-sound-audio(arbereshe, Occitan, Ladin and Friulian above).

In several years there are consolidated collaborations with academic institutions in Italy and abroad, public and private institutions relevant bodies to produce, print and distribute the works of significant cultural interest.

Since 2008, through a partnership with EDT, much of the catalog is distributed in bookstores as well as on the net and in the major digital platforms around the world.
